Be sure to check safety tips from AdventureSmart before heading out, and always use a helmet! A well planned trip is generally a safer one!
There are many sensitive ecosystems within the Okanagan, so please be respectful of these areas. Further information on our local ecosystems and threatened wildlife is available on our Habitat and Wildlife page. Remember creek beds are sensitive fish spawning habitats, so stay out of the creeks and stick to the mud puddles!
Laws & Regulations
Mandatory registration for Off Road Vehicles being used or operated on Crown land took effect June 1, 2015, so be sure to check out the information available about the Off Road Vehicle Act.
