Cliff Jumping
Cliff Jumping is very dangerous when people do not know the area in which they are seeking adventure. The Okanagan Valley has amazing rock outcrops that offer heights to jump from a mere foot above the water to 50+ feet. Due to the fact that some people are going to do what they choose to do, we are going to help keep you safe.

You are literally taking your life in your own hands! Read this advise before headed out cliff jumping and save your loved ones some heartache. Someone dies here every year, don't let it be you.
Laws & Regulations
The government really doesn't want you to do it. There's signage posted everywhere. Not illegal though.
Be very cautious walking through Kalamalka Lake Park to not trample sensitive ecosystems.
Where To Go
Cliff Rules
You'll find old cliff jumpers, and brave cliff jumpers, but you won't find old brave cliff jumpers.
Do's
Positive encouragement only, be supportive, with manners.
Make sure you have someone on land watching with a phone in hand to call for paramedics. Every jump should be supervised by someone.
Watch for swimmers, divers, kayakers and boaters. Not everyone is aware to look up at the cliffs when passing through the water.
Don'ts
Discourage, bully, coerce, blackmail
Jump near anyone in the water
Jump beyond your comfort level
ABSOLUTELY NEVER
Zero physical contact, pushing someone off a cliff is never humorous, and it's potentially murderous. One life lost, but two wasted.
Drinking is not only illegal here, it's stupid! You don't need liquid courage, you need to practice on a diving board at a swimming pool with a lifeguard. Build your confidence safely, don't risk your life to be another bad story.
Your garbage, your responsibility. The use of trail cameras is aiding in identifying individuals who litter. You brought it in, you pack it out.
