Places To Go

The Okanagan Valley has many outdoor places to enjoy the day and immerse yourself in the natural world. Many education centers are available throughout Region 8, offering knowledge on wildlife, our local environment, and the history of our region. 

If you enter the Okanagan Valley off the Connector from Merritt, the full overwhelming beauty of our valley can take your breath away! Highway 97 is one of the most scenic drives in all of British Columbia!
While you soak in the sun sparkling off the water please be aware of something. Someone is enjoying their day, someone is late for work, and someone else is grieving the loss of a loved one on our roads.
