Management Unit Region 8 is shared by the Syilx Okanagan Nation Alliance, Splatsin, and Lower Kootenay Band. They have years of experience living in harmony with Nature without depleting it of its resources. We must all take the time to learn of the rich cultural heritage of the Okanagan so we too can enjoy our amazing valley.
