Get CONNECTED A Global Movement
Aside from logging in to this website, how does one actually get connected to their community?
We are providing a connection hub for you, the user to get connected to a large variety of outdoor activities. Go through the list and try something new! We have an easy directory where we've broken down the how, when, where, but we are also providing you with who.
Organizations are in abundance bringing together like-minded people for a common cause. Sports have them. Animals, ecosystems, history, the list goes on. Many of the people involved in these groups cross with other groups and soon you're submerged in a world of volunteering and good people.
Whatever your interests may be, there are opportunities available to you.
You can Get Connected in your daily life by using the available reporting apps for wildlife sightings, wildlife poaching, invasive weeds, and illegal dumping of garbage in our Environment.

The World of Volunteering!
There are many worlds that exist within our own shared reality that we do not see unless we choose to immerse ourselves in it. Our focus now is the World of Volunteering. Whether it be as part of a group in an organization working for a common goal, or the small personal efforts that you make to make the world a better place, thank you!

It's Contagious! Start the Spread!
Every Movement needs a name. Due to the Global nature of this movement, most word sound combinations already mean something to somebody somewhere. Words change meaning sometimes though. I'm told quirky no longer means what it used to mean. The new generation has chosen to change a word that was quite endearing to Artists. We pride ourselves in being quirky. If you can take quirky, then we are laying claim to the SMILE!
That's right. Globally, that's ours now.
If you look at another individual and your eyes light up and your radiant smile shows, you are indicating that you love people.
That you have faith in mankind.
You believe we have the knowledge, power, and numbers to be the positive change this world needs.

While we have the resources of our youth, we also have awesome resources available to give a thorough perspective on Being a Good Person. This is an article from Psychology Today, Dr. Ronald E. Riggio Ph.D.
How Can You Tell If You Are a Good Person?
Four virtues are the key. Which do you possess?
There are many ways to define what it means to be a good person. One definition of “good” is that you follow the rules — you don’t break the law, commit crimes, lie, or cheat.
Another way to determine who is a good person is to ask others — friends, family members, coworkers — people who know you and can “vouch” for your good qualities and character.
Another, more abstract, way to define goodness is that, at the end of your days, you leave the world a better place — you have done good deeds, saved lives (or souls), raised good children, made others happy, and the list goes on.
An approach that we’ve used in our research on “good” leaders stems from the ancient Greek philosophers and emphasizes character. According to Aristotle, there are four cardinal virtues that determine a person of good character. So, an easy way to get on the path to “goodness” is to practice the four virtues.
Here are the four cardinal virtues, their definitions, and how you can tell if you are leading a virtuous life.
1. Prudence. Another term for prudence is “wisdom,” but it involves being objective and reflective when deciding on courses of action. Prudent individuals learn to avoid making bad decisions. They value and learn from others. To assess how prudent you are, consider this:
-
Do you make life decisions by studying information, listening to the advice of trusted friends and relations, and “fact-checking?"
-
Do you choose courses of action that are based on what you “ought” to do? For example, would your parents approve of your course of action?
2. Temperance. This virtue focuses on moderation — not being too extreme. It involves controlling your passions and not acting out.
-
Do you manage your emotions, particularly the “dark” ones (i.e., anger, despair)?
-
Do you avoid the lure of power, wealth, and do you have good perspective on your own accomplishments (i.e., not have an overinflated ego)?
3. Justice. This virtue deals with being fair and respecting others.
-
Do you treat others fairly, giving them credit when credit is due?
-
Do you respect the rights of others? Do you treat others as you would want to be treated?
4. Fortitude (or Courage). This involves having the courage to stand up for what you believe in — to do the right thing.
-
Do you intervene when you see others being mistreated or abused?
-
Do you have the courage to take responsibility for your own mistakes and failures?
-
Do you have a moral compass that you follow and do you have the courage to do what that moral compass tells you to do?
Although our work involves trying to help leaders assess and build their character via the cardinal virtues, these are important for everyone, not just leaders. Moreover, parents should foster these virtues in themselves and in their children. Focusing on these virtues, checking your own behavior, and working to become more virtuous in all areas of life is the key to becoming a good person.
How To Maintain Your Inner Joy Despite the World Around Us
Everyone has faced bullying or adversity at some point in our lives. Many of us are lacking the skills to properly communicate with others and become frustrated at their lack of Common Sense. We will have a video made available to you soon on "The Reintroduction of Common Sense". We live in a new world and need a global update on our way of thinking. We are conducting interviews with Great Thinkers of our time and will share what they view is the new introduction of Common Sense.
Until this Reintroduction of Common Sense occurs, we need to get by in our day to day lives. Scrolling through facebook presents a world of people who just want to be heard. They want a friend. Someone to show caring. We fall pray to online scammers and cons and feel used and a mistrust for people. You may feel as though you've lost your joy so how could you possibly maintain it? Sometimes,... Coworkers suck, kids are mean, bosses and teachers have bad days. We don't treat each other very nice sometimes. Even within our own homes and families. We love our families and work all day for them, yet come home at the end of the day and either don't see them. Parents are left with the choice to spend their free time cleaning alone, or having their interactions with their family be negative because they didn't help.
Number 1 Parenting Stress
Then how are we supposed to be happy?
First we propose, you already have things that make you happy. Whether it be an awesome song, a book, a memory, or something as simple as a puppy or butterfly. There are things that bring you joy.
Do more of that? Makes sense it would bring you greater happiness and increase the dopamine in your body. We've already started a framework for the Key to Happiness to show how BALANCE if the KEY.
So do more of the Joyful things, but be balanced and keep your life in check or you will suffer stress and anxiety.
Too much to do? Simplify!

This is where we learn from HISTORY!!
Please they went through the worst time imaginable in human history, the least you could do is listen.

Maintaining JOY Despite Severe Adversity/ Extreme Bullying
If you don't personally recognize the image above, it is of Jehovahs Witnesses in a Concentration Camp in WWII. They stood joyfully, proudly branded with their Purple Triangles. There is a museum available to learn more but our short point is how did they maintained their Joy despite such sever adversity?

MUSIC!
Songs they had committed to heart.
BOOKS!
Stories they had read and remembered.
HOPE!
They believed it would get better.
ACTION!
Faith moved them to action. Whether that be standing for their beliefs, or globally trying to share good news.
They sang songs, they told stories, they smiled. Some made it through the end of the War to share these stories with us. So if there is a lesson to be learned it is this,..
Whatever makes you joyful, commit it to heart, for no one can ever take that from you!
